Are you a full-service bakery, or do you only make cakes?
We are a full-service bakery and more. Please see our menu here: https://www.bartonbakingcompany.com/menu.html#/
I want to order a cake. Where Can I find your pricing?
Please email us at info@bartonbakingcompany.com for pricing. Pricing varies depending on the size, flavor, and design.
I have a food allergy. How do I know which products I can eat safely?
Many of our products contain wheat. Some products may contain eggs, dairy products, soybeans, sesame seeds, tree nuts and or peanuts. If you have a food allergy, please ask if a product contains your known allergen or if it was made on the same day as another product that contains your known allergen.
Do you offer any Gluten-free options?
Yes. We try to have at least one GF option available daily. We can take orders for other GF items, such as cakes, cookies, and brownies.
How do I place an order?
You may place an order by calling us at 802-525-4494, sending an email to info@bartonbakingcompany.com or send us a message on Facebook or Instagram. Please note that your order is not considered “placed” until the order is paid in full or other arrangements have been made.
Do I need to place my order in advance?
It is better to place your order as far in advance as possible, that way we can better accommodate your order date. Currently we are asking for a two-week lead time on all custom orders. If we are at maximum capacity for the order date you have chosen, we may be able to offer you another dessert or a cake as an alternative.
Do you source local ingredients?
Yes. Our wheat flour is grown and milled locally by Morningstar Farm of Glover, VT. They also supply us with dried beans. We use eggs, honey and maple syrup produced at Breezy Mountain Farms of Sheffield, VT. We also purchase products from many other local farms and small businesses.
